    This place is awesome!
    My first visit.
    No GMO's
    Locally sourced ingredients
    Fantastic ambiance
102 draft beers (sadly no local Fairhope Brewing)
    Friendly and attentive server
    INCREDIBLE seared tuna salad!!!!
     (No worthless Iceberg Lettuce)
Pictures of the burgers I'm certain will satisfy
    I will be back!!!

I've been three times to the West Mobile location. Each time the service has been terrible. The food was average and frankly a bit over priced. I'd have never gone back after the first time but I thought I'd give it one more shot and then ended up there with a group.

They serve nothing you can't easily make at home, and as poor as the service was there is no convenience factor that should come with going out. I also tried a number of their beers. A few were pretty decent, but the last time there it took nearly thirty minutes to get my first beer so it kind of ruins any enjoyment I could have had with it.

Solid 5 for beer selections here. Good variety and lots I've never tried. Since it was half priced bottles/cans Tuesday, I could get way out of my comfort zone. Tried two really great Canadian Dubbels.

Unfortunately, that's where the accolades stopped. First, the server was nice and friendly, but also not helpful and prone to disappear for long periods.  First, asked for a cold pint glass with our beers and her response was "not sure we have those". Made me wonder what they were serving the 60+ drafts in...One person was drinking tea and it literally took over 15 minutes to get the tea. Actually had to track down another server and ask for the tea.  Her performance was similar on getting the second round of beers and with the food delivery. Didn't do anything but make the experience less than stellar.

We did order food. Unfortunately. First was the Pig on a Stick. First, the portion was lacking. 3 2" pieces of sausage for $10. That alone was concerning. Looked good, and then I took a bite...so overcooked that all I tasted was a greasy, crunchy mess. The concept was good...bacon wrapped Conecuh sausage dipped and deep fried. The execution was terrible. Shared with the table and between 5 people we didn't finish them.

Ordered a salad since I wasn't really hungry. Essentially paid $11 for a house salad. No protein. Just greens, veggies, fruit, dressing. And it was small. That feeling of being ripped off was really starting to sting.

So overall, not something I'd pursue unless you are wanting to do anything other than drink. While limited to what I consumed, those dining with me reported similar discouraging takes on their food.

But please do drink the beer!

Finally getting to the Loda and it was worth the wait.

I do love an occasional big, juicy burger with all the fixings and it's not complete with amazing side kick, the fries.

We decided to drop in around 7pm expecting a long wait but BAM after 5 minutes, and the Fab hostess cleaning off a booth, were in our seats.

We looked over the menu, which offers alot from chicken, seared tuna, ruebens to burgers.

The place popular because of the large selection of more than 100 beers but I'm here just for the burger. I'm looking for a local favorite, a place to drop in when I want a burger fix. I usually ride 2 hrs to my fav burger joint but today I'm looking for something close to home.

So we order the Genghis Khan and The Courthouse burgers. I got a side of fries and hubby got a huge side of Mac and Cheese.

Everything was incredibly delicious. Each burger was very juicy, seared to perfection and the sides were so good. That Mac and Cheese though, Wow! Smooth, creamy and delicious.

The Genghis has a sesame peanut slaw and pickled onion that makes the burger a definite favorite.

The Courthouse was listed as "Our Famous LODA Burger". Not sure why but it could be because of the blue cheese butter. Delicious is not a big enough word.

I think I found I might have local spot.illhave to definitely visit a couple more times just to be sure.

Oh yeah, hubs got a dessert, yeah he's a beast and its huge. It was still a little cold so he ate his ice cream and we packed up the German chocolate cake togo.

I normally love this place and am constantly telling people to go. I've now rewritten my previous 4 star review to this one because the always-amazing salad I get from here was literally thrown together haphazardly and I was given the wrong dressing. This would be different if we were at the restaurant, but this was delivered via takeout/Waitr and it's too much to go all the way to the restaurant to get the correct items. I even double checked my order in case I'd chosen wrong - not the case today. This is ridiculous and it's getting tougher to keep recommending this restaurant.
